Renowned artist “Thor” and Deadhead Rum put heads together to celebrate 10th Anniversary

There’s only one artist known for his incredible artwork of realistic shrunken heads and only one rum company known for its amazing shrunken head bottle packaging. 

Little surprise famed-artist Tom Thordarson and Deadhead Rum have put their heads together and created striking artwork to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Deadhead Rum.    

Tom Thordarson, or “THOR” as he is nicknamed by friends and collectors, is a painter, designer and storyteller, renowned for his inventive vision and whimsical characterizations of our world. 

He has held artist-in-residence titles with Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Studios and other theme park and attraction design companies. His designs have come to life in Tokyo Disney’s “Journey to the Center of the Earth” and “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” rides, among numerous artistic assignments.

To celebrate its 10th Anniversary, Deadhead Rum has commissioned Thordarson to create original artwork. This striking work of art will be available on T-shirts, collectible lapel pins, swizzle sticks, barware, decals, stickers, you name it.
